mission & history
The Northumberland Makers is a non for profit educational center, specializing in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics. Together we are a community of creators, innovators and makers with a goal of improving equity of access to tools, technology and education in Northumberland County, Ontario.
The Northumberlands Makerspace is a place where people of all ages and abilities come together to practice and educate in digital fabrication, coding, hands on making, electronics and more.
We are located within Venture13, a 30,000 square foot building is a state-of-the-art technology centre and a thriving centre of opportunity.
OUR PROJECTS

YOUTH CAMPS
Creating opportunities for our local Youth to learn about Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics education with coding, robodics, 3D Printing and more! Creating the foundation of problem solving, creativity and education.

assisted living devices
We wish to use our knowledge and Technology to assist the people of Northumberland County with arthritis and other mobility issues. We are making 3D printed devices to make people's lives easier. To find out how you can fund this project, please visit:
